Graduate Student Mentoring Initiative

Are you interested in informally mentoring an undergraduate who aspires to pursue a PhD or MD/PhD in STEM?

We are looking for graduate students who are willing to serve as informal mentors to these students. We will create a database of graduate student information and can match you with an undergrad on an as-needed basis.

Note: Your information will not be freely shared; only Laureates & Leaders staff will have access to this database.

  • There is no formal time commitment. Laureates & Leaders staff can connect undergrads with you as they need, whether it’s to pick your brain about a field of study or to ask a question about the grad school application process.
  • All courses are welcome. Laureates & Leaders participants typically major in Courses 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 18, and 20.
  • Laureates & Leaders can reimburse for small incidentals to help facilitate mentoring relationships, such as coffee, pastries, etc.
